I just finished reading Simple Life, devotional thoughts from Amich Country.
This book was put together by Wanda Brunstetter. She writes fiction about the Amish, and from what I read here she is pretty good at it.
I loved how each days devotional tied in with a scripture principle. Each scripture was used as an illustration of real everyday life activities. Not some far fetched scenario that is at best unlikely.
It's simple, easy to understand language makes it ideal for women and young girls to share.

I hope everyone gets an opportunity to use this book in their daily walk.
I plan to begin again and go even mreo slowly and thoughtfully over each devotional.
This one gets a 10 in my book!

I'd love to read this book. I am really interested in the Amish right now....kind of a little hobby of mine spurred on by a friend. *points to Karyn*

I am in the middle of this book and would give it a "10", too. I've always been interested in anything Amish. What I like most about it so far is how its based on real life. I've been taking my time with it and really absorbing each and every "gold nugget", so to speak. I'd highly recommend this one, too! :)
